Statement at the eleventh emergency special session
of the United Nations General Assembly

Mr. President,
After 4 years the situation in and around Ukraine continues to pose a serious threat to peace and security at the regional and global levels. Of particular concern is an increased humanitarian impact on civilians that bear the major burden of hostilities.
Azerbaijan stands for the earliest peaceful settlement through the diplomatic means in full compliance with the norms and principles of international law guiding interstate relations and commends the ongoing efforts to that end.
Azerbaijan reiterates its support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine within its internationally recognized borders.
